    3. Hi Don: The only information that I have on "other books" by E. Alfred Jones is listed under his name as author of : The Old Silver of the American Churches; American Members of the Inns of Court; The Loyalists of Massachusetts, Etc. The author acknowledges help received in preparing the manuscript by the following printed sources: Lawrence and Stockton, "The Judges of New Brunswick and their Times." Sabine, "The American Loyalists" 2nd ed., 1864 Stryker, "The New Jersey Volunteers." "The Royal Commission Reports on the MSS. of the Earl of Dartmouth; and on the American MSS, in the Royal Institution", 4 Vols. "The Royal Commission on Loyalists' Claims." 1783-1785. Ed. by H. E. Egerton for the Roxburghe Club, 1915. "Second Report of the Bureau Archives for the Province of Ontario," 1904 The author adds: "To this list may be added Archdeacon W. O. Raymond's account of certain Loyalist Regiments and lists of Officers from the original rolls, in the "Collections of the New Brunswick Historical Society," No. 5, 1904." This book was written in 1927, and republished in 1988 by Heritage Books. If you contact Heritage at : http://www.heritagebooks.com/ You can then enter "Loyalists" in their search engine and it will list about a dozen books on Loyalists. The only one that shows up when E. Alfred Jones is searched in the one that I have. My thinking is that Mr. Jones was reporting from the other side of the Atlantic, and some British bookstores may have books on Loyalists. Perhaps some of them can be reached via Email. Other sources over there could be historical societies. Remember that a book published in the early 1900's to the Brits is a fairly new book. They seem to hold on to heritage better than we do. When you tie into Heritage Books Webstore and Willow Book Webstore, you can also order their free Heritage Book Catalog. Evelyn Don wrote: Do you know if E. Alfred Jones had more than the one volume of "The Loyalists of NJ" Published? I know of William, James, George, Israel, John West that were all Loyalists and were awarded land grants in New Brunswick, Canada after 1783.
