I wanted to ask about the Mt. Airy area. I am not sure if it's around Ringoes or not. Is Mt. Airy in the Kingwood Twp, by chance? Does anyone have some information about someone buried in a cemetery near Mt. Airy that you know about by the name of Elisha Warford and/or Elizabeth Warford? They lived in Mt. Airy and she died in the 1860s. Any information about a possible cemetery near Mt. Airy would be helpful! Thanks! Susan in Texas
Deat's 1917 inscription did not list my ancestor, although it listed his first wife. My ancestor, Edward G. Phillips died about 20 years before the inscription. A contemporary family historian however listed Edward G. Phillips as having been buried there. I was in the area recently and driving by the cemetery. I thought I'd stop and take a look for myself. Sure enough, five feet from the far entrance, I saw the plot. He's not listed on Deat's transcription, but he's there. Perhaps your Elisha was also mistakenly omitted. --- On Thu, 9/18/08, Susan Pena <[email protected]> wrote: From: Susan Pena <[email protected]> Subject: [NJHUNTER] Mt.
