Wish I could help. and Barefoot Smith is NOT included in our ancestry file. But I have seen his grave when I was back east last year, it is right on the main road in Baptistown. I've been trying for many, many years. My Elizabeth Smith b.24 Nov. 1767 and d. 07 Jun. 1836 in Baptisttown, NJ. Eliz. was married to David Curtis b.04 Mar 1763 and who d. 01 Feb 1848 in Baptisttown, NJ. It is possible that Eliz was the niece of "Barefoot" Smith. I cannot find her direct family line. If you find any information that you would share, I would be eternally greatful.
