Hi List! In recent postings, I have seen the surname Emley mentioned. My great great grandparents, William and Mary Fulper Heath of Kingwood named one of their sons Emley (I can't tell you the number of different spellings that have appeared on various documents!). I wonder if there were some connection between the Heaths and Emleys? Are there still Emleys in Hunterdon? The William Heaths seemed to have a thing about names -- their youngest son was named David Bateman after the minister who married them. Emley is buried in the cemetery of the Locktown Christian Church, along with his second wife, Elizabeth (McGlon), and daughter Anna B. Heath. Thanks!
