MARTIN BETHLEHEM TWP. -- Thomas H. Martin died on Monday, June 2, 2008 at Hunterdon Medical Center. He was 80. He was born June 3, 1927 in the Van Syckel section of Union Township to Joseph Van Syckel Martin and Ellen Stevenson. He was a direct descendant of Aaron Van Syckel, who was a presidential elector in 1820 for James Monroe, the United States' fifth president.
