Hi, Have a question for Gloria in Arizona, re. SWICK and WOLLE departure from Rotterdam/London in 1709: By chance do you have the name of the ship which brought them to America? About your query: Having lived in Italy for many years, I remember the name Swick or Svick from early records in the area around Parma and Piacenza and Cremona. I believe they were confectioners or bakers. Has anyone told you about possible Italian connections?
