    1. Re: [NJHUNTER] Fw: Thomas Jones & Anne Bray
    2. Marilyn and Leon and Melva: Several databases seem to have your Mary "Polly" JONES married to VANKIRK, no given name. I have also seen that surname as just "VNKIRK or VN KIRK". Possibly they all are "assuming" that they are one and the same from your posting to the list?? (Also on Fredericlathrop database of Hunterdon Co. NJ past and present.) You listed her death place, and that she was buried there in New Jersey in the churchyard. Since she was buried there in the churchyard cemetery, did you write to them and ask if that was where the couple were also married?? Possibly there might be more information on the marriage record at the church?? Were the children also christened and or baptized there as well?? In the past, granted, before 1990, I did send away to my husband's church he attended, (Lancaster, PA) and with a nominal donation to the building fund, did receive back copies of his baptismal certificate, and quite a list of those other family members of his who attended and were married, etc. there. Again, that was a long time ago, so not sure if that is still really done anymore. ???? DO NOT KNOW. Am also a long way from New Jersey, so really have to depend on the kindness of others.
