Coroner's Inquests used kept at the Hunterdon County Surrogate's Court, in the Justice Building in Flemington, NJ. If you live too far away to visit, it would be worthwhile to call or write for help in getting a copy. No one has made transcripts of the coroners' reports. Many of the old records from the Surrogate's Court and County Clerk's Office have been moved to the County Archives at the Route 12 county complex. But I would check with the Surrogate first.
