Alan, Thank you for sharing your work on the book, "Jersey City". I am enjoying reading some of the interesting facts about the birth of the place where I was born. So many of the names of places I grew up with took on a whole new life, when I read about their namesakes. I have just recently picked up a copy of "New Jersey, America's Main Road", by John T. Cunningham, at a used book sale, in Salt Lake City. It also is fascinating with it's history, maps and pictures.
