Hi, I just wanted to let you know that effective July 1st you will no longer be able to obtain birth, marriage, death etc.. from Jersey City. The office has been closed. Therefore, we all have to write to the state. Please note that this information only pertains to records that are from Union City/West Hoboken/Union/Union Hill, Weehawken (including those from N. Hudson Hospital), and Jersey City. Actually, it pertains to all records housed in Jersey City. I do have one question. Does anyone know where I can get a list of street name changes for North Bergen.
