There's a site that was mentioned on another list with a wonderful collection of postcards/photos. http://www.family-images.com/nj/misc/njmisc1.htm It includes a lot for all over NJ, including Hudson Co. Among them are: 1915 January Class of Dickinson HS Jersey City NJ Dickinson High School Jersey City NJ 1940s Might give you a better way to compare and confirm location. Also, a check of the 1930 census revealed: 1930 United States Federal Census Record Name: August F Siegrist Home in 1930: Jersey City, Hudson, New Jersey Age: 43* Estimated Birth Year: abt 1887* BirthPlace: New York Relation to Head of House: Head Spouses's Name: Dorothy Race: White Household Members: Name Age August F Siegrist 43* Dorothy Siegrist 41 Dorothy A Siegrist 16 Source Citation: Year: 1930; Census Place: Jersey City, Hudson, New Jersey; Roll: 1356; Page: 9A; Enumeration District: 183 *adjusted, for transcription error, after viewing image.
