    3. Can't you get these certs from the town itself anymore? About 5 years ago I got my grandparent's marriage cert from Hoboken vital records. ----- Original Message ----- From: "John Beekman" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Wednesday, January 10, 2007 12:38 PM Subject: Re: [NJHUDSON] Marriage Cert Technically from either, though I suspect your best bet is with the state, depending on where in HC. See http://www.state.nj.us/health/vital/marriage2.shtml , http://www.state.nj.us/health/vital/writein.shtml Fee from the state is $25: http://www.state.nj.us/health/vital/fees.shtml If you want to contact the municipal registrar's office, you'll find the info here: http://www.state.nj.us/cgi-bin/dhss/vital/registrars.pl?county=Hudson -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]]On Behalf Of Richard Van Wagenen Sent: Wednesday, January 10, 2007 12:21 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [NJHUDSON] Marriage Cert If one wanted to get a copy of a marriage cert from 1882, what would be the cost ? And would one order it from Hudson County or from the State ? ____________________________________________________________________________ ________ Yahoo! 3. For NJ marriages from 1847 to 1900 index records are in books at the Trenton Archives. From 1901 to 1940 they are on microfilm. They also have birth records from 1847 to 1923 - Death records from 1847 to 1940. Go to the RAOGK site and contact a volunteer that goes to Trenton to look them up for you. or you can contact the Archives at [email protected] or http://www.njarchives.org ----- Original Message ----- From: "CJ Lisa" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, January 12, 2007 4:53 PM Subject: Re: [NJHUDSON] Marriage Cert > Can't you get these certs from the town itself anymore?
