Do you have any information as to how old the Speer Cemetery is? I ask because some of my mother's ancestors owned property in Speertown from about 1720 to about 1810. It is my understanding Speertown is now part of Upper Montclair. You know it is surprising how many former NJ people are in FL, Marty in Orange City, Volusia County ----- Original Message ----- From: "Tallygators" <tallygators@earthlink.net> To: <NJHUDSON-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Sunday, June 29, 2008 8:45 AM Subject: [NJHUDSON] Elizabeth Waldron Varick - Speer Cemetery > > I am so pleased that the 'forgotten cemeteries' are now getting some > attention. Hi, Marty, I am forwarding your note to Bob Murgittroyd, who belongs to the Friends of Speer Cemetery. Perhaps he can answer your questions.
