    3. Karen, Joseph Briggs built and owned a house in Wood-Ridge, Bergen County, New Jersey. He is listed there in the 1930 Federal Census on Ancestry.com. There also appears a World War I draft registration card for him, reflecting his date of birth as December 11, 1872. Mr. Briggs died in a New York hospital on March 30, 1938 only five years after the death of Louis Comfort Tiffany in 1933. I doubt that there was a Briggs House in Jersey City, but this may be a point of further research. Regards, Beverly G.
