Catherine Campbell BRIDGEWATER -- Catherine (Kay) Campbell died Saturday, Nov.1, 2008, at Bridgeway Care Center in Bridgewater. She was 100. She was born on April 24, 1908 in Jersey City, a daughter of Carl and Ida Bergmann, and lived in Hoboken, Belleville and Raritan Township from 1944 until moving to Bridgewater in 2002. A graduate of Belleville High School, she was an original member of Copper Hill Country Club and was a member of the Flemington Woman's Club. Her husband, Peter Campbell, died in 1978. Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Joan and Dr. Daniel Thomas of Bridgewater; son Dr. Peter M. Campbell of Alamogordo, N.M.; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Nov. 8 at 2 p.m. in the Robert L. Ford Funeral Home, Highway 31, Flemington. Interment will be private.
