Several years ago, I got a copy of my aunt's death certificate and the cause was blacked out. I wondered why. I thought it was a mistake or something. I was wanting to get my grandfathers cause of death, he died in 1950. All my older death certificates indicated stroke and tb and things like that. I really wanted to know what they thought the cause of death was. Are you saying that relatives cannot know the cause of death anymore?
