SAVE THE DATE The Genealogical Society of New Jersey announces its Spring Program: Saturday, 30 May 2009 9:00 am - 2:00 pm Raritan Valley Community College Conference Center Route 28 at Lamington Road North Branch, New Jersey Focusing on: County Genealogical Records Includes the following talks: County Level Records of Genealogical Value: a review of those records maintained by the 21 counties of New Jersey, with emphasis on those records that contain genealogical information. Includes a review of the records of the County Clerk, County Register, County Surrogate, Courts and Board of Taxation. Somerset County Historical Society: a review of the collections of the Somerset County Historical Society, with emphasis on those records of genealogical value. Hunterdon County Historical Society: a review of the collections of the Hunterdon County Historical Society, with emphasis on those records of genealogical value. New Jersey State Archives: a review of many new collections available at the New Jersey State Archives in Trenton, including vital statistics and county records.
