    1. Re: [NJHUDSON] Documents w/ Persons Description on it?
    2. Hi, I have the same question about my GGM from an Irish family. She died around 1907 in Jersey City from TB. So I would also like to know the answer to this. She was a German immigrant and died in 1911. Can someone please tell me what documents existed that would contain her name, date of birth, height, weight, eye & hair color? I already have her death certificate. She became a citizen when her husband filed papers. I'm thinking in the way of a driver's license, some kind of application, etc. There are no known photographs of her, or any indication of what she looked like. 3. The only one I know of would be a passport document and would only apply if they HAD a passport. If the ancestor is male you may get that info from the draft cards for WWI and WWII. Other than that, I know of no other document. Liz On Mon, Apr 20, 2009 at 11:33 AM, <Lindabr25@aol.com> wrote: > > Hi, > I have the same question about my GGM from an Irish family. 2. Hi, Well, you may have luck with Ellis Island records. The passenger records sometimes told of the looks of an individual. Also, you may wish to see if you relative applied for a passport. Passport records are searchable on Ancestry.com. Passport records list everything sometimes even a photo.
