Can someone please tell me if there were any German associations in Jersey City (or in the area) between 1883-1915? I am trying to find out if my ancestors belonged to one when they lived in Jersey City from 1883-1915. Thanks, -Dave

Dave The city directories will have the associations and clubs. Around that time Hoboken's ethnic makeup was mostly German. You'll find several German assoc. and clubs in Jersey City and Hoboken at that time. The Mormons have the films of the directories.
