The April meeting of the GSBC will be on April 27 starting at 7:00PM. A short business meeting will be followed by Steven Perkins presenting:? "Genes, Genetics, Genealogy and DNA."? This presentation will explain the different types of DNA testing currently being offered directly to consumers.? It will then discuss how to use DNA testing to further your genealogical research.? A list of companies offering DNA testing with current prices and a list of genetic genealogy resources will be provided. Steven Perkins, has been doing genealogical research for over 40 years. He has published several articles and has a number of genealogical websites.? He is a member of the International Society of Genetic Genealogy (ISOGG) and the New England Historic Genealogy Society.? He is a former academic lawyer, Law Library Director, and Professor of Law.? He currently directs the research department in the New York City office of a large international law firm
