Could anyone give me any info on the Flaherty family.? I think the first name was Patrick. You see, I don't know much. Mrs. Flaherty was suppose to be 1/2 sister to my greatgrandmother. Time frame would be the 1800's and maybe 1900's early. Thanks for the help in advance. MARIE
My oldest sister and I grew up in Jersey City. My sister (Kathleen McCormick Magura age 85)) went to St. Michael's RC High School with Margaret Flaherty who became a lawyer. She lived in Sayerville, NJ for many years. She had a brother Eddie (Brother) who my husband also knew and he thinks he became a monk. They grew up in the Greenville section of JC I think. If this is of any help I can find if my sister would know her mothers name. Hope this helps.
