Hello list! I'm hoping someone can tell me if they know the process regarding the surrogate court with regard to someone dying without a will. Is there a hearing that would have been held in the court? Can I get a copy of a transcript or any probate records from 1996? If so, where do I go. The person lived in Jersey City, NJ at the time of their death. Thanks in advance, Liz
