Lillian, I was once in your shoes and discovered that the Jersey City Free Public Library has microfilmed copies of old Hudson County newspapers. What you need to do is click here http://www.jclibrary.org/service/njroomresearchfeesrev.pdf and fill this form out and mail it to them.
