We have a friend that lives on Danforth Avenue, a few blocks rom Rt 440 and the Society Hill development (which us old-timers remember s the site of Roosevelt Stadium), and, for the most part, we have found hat much of the city is no more or less unsafe than any other area in orthern NJ. There are still parts that I would not feel comfortable in at ight, ut during the day, and especially in the area of the library, I would not e more than normally aware and concerned about my safety as I would be nywhere. Thousands of commuters come into the area via the PATH because of he redevelopment of the Montgomery Street and riverfront areas, and if you re willing to take the walk from the PATH station, leave your car at home nd do it without fear. Jersey City has really changed a lot, and for the etter. n a message dated 6/1/2009 3:06:14 A.M. Eastern Daylight Time, jhudson-request@rootsweb.com writes: Today's Topics: 1.
