http://chroniclingamerica.loc.gov/ Came across this site earlier today; looks like a Library of Congress project. It has a number of NY City newspapers up and searchable, and I've had good luck finding a few traces of my Jersey City Whelan ancestors. I wonder if there are any plans to digitize any Hudson County papers on this site or elsewhere? -Jim Miller
