    3. Can someone tell me please the process immigrants went through when immigrating to America through Castle Garden? Did they first stop at Castle Garden, then onto the Hoboken Piers where they were let off? Thanks, Dave

    3. It also is curious that my grandfather and grandmother got married in Hoboken in 1912, when she arrived in the US. I know that she did not need to go through Ellis Island because my grandfather was already here and had established a home and job. However they first lived in the Bronx and only in the 1920's did they move to West Hoboken. So I have always wondered if her ship also went to the Hoboken piers. If anyone knows or can confirm, I would appreciate hearing. Thank you. ----- Original Message ----- From: "David Stroebel" <davidstroebel@yahoo.com> To: <njhudson@rootsweb.com> Sent: Monday, June 08, 2009 2:32 PM Subject: [NJHUDSON] Immigration Process at Castle Garden Can someone tell me please the process immigrants went through when immigrating to America through Castle Garden?
