I think there was a Pabst, Schaeffer and an Anheiser Bush but check with city directories, there were probably others but I remember (or think I do) the flying A and Blue Ribbon signs and I think I remember the Schaefer as it was my mothers maiden name but one or more of them may be in JC or between. I haven't been to JC in 40 years and Newark in 43 or so.
