    1. [NJHUDSON] Sources
    2. In todays cyber world it is much easier to find all kinds of information (good and bad). When I look on One World Tree I find all kinds of discrepancies. Some people who submit their tree to Ancestry.com have sources but most don't. It would be easy to simply use that information but I'm concerned about it's accuracy and wonder whose information I should believe. I've taken the stand not to use any of the One World Tree information unless it has a source I can check myself. One particular name in my tree (Vreeland) not only has tons of information on One World Tree but a few members of that branch have created a web site with all sorts of wonderful information on it. The information is pretty convincing and it is obvious they have worked hard for many years at recording the family history. Here's my dilemma...is it acceptable to take the information contained on their web page (and others like it) and transcribe it into my tree using their web page as my source? Or, should a source be a record of some sort? Searching for: Bell Catton Dalton Davis Happel Gahagan Rahmel Scull VanHorn VanNess VanWinkle Vreeland
