Hi list, I recently wrote the the funeral home in Jersey city,that handled my husands granfathers funeral in 1951. Although they are no longer in bussiness they were kind enough to send me a 1 page form that they found in thier basement. On this form it shows the occupation, dob, both parents names , md , church, place of burial. as well as the cost. so my friends please don,t give up, the answers are out there. The funeral home was A. Scatuorchio & sons, Inc. I looked up the name in the white pages(on the net) and wrote a letter.Thats all it took.
