Looking for this family who resided in Jersey City after 1900. All the information I have is: Rose Schmitt born abt 1875 married someone named BUKEIZER/Buckhauser (I don't know the spelling so haven't searched the census). Rose is a sister to my grandfather. She is said to have had twin boys and another son. Rose was not living with her parents on the 1900 census in NYC where she was born, so I am assuming she was married. Rose's parents were born in Germany. The family was Roman Catholic and were probably buried in one of the catholic cemeteries. Does any one know the funeral homes that serviced these cemeteries? Maybe a search of these records will show up under Rose's maiden name. If anyone has access to the Jersey City Directories I would appreciate a look up for this family. I really need to get the correct spelling before I can do much more searching and think the directory would be the least painful approach. Open to other suggestions. Help much appreciated. Thanks, Deb
