Hi list, Thanks for your replies. My maternal grandmother's line has been a stone wall and now after many years have decided to tackle. Wilhemina Carolina Meyers was born 1894 in Bayonne, I have her birth certificate and it states her father was George Meyers(b. Germany - age 36) and mother Mary Hendle) Her mother supposedly died when she was 2. Years ago I looked on the 1900 census, but only located a Paul Meyer and he had a daughter Carrie which fit her age. I know nothing else about her parentage. I thought maybe the directories would show a George Meyers and I could take it from there. Bonnie
