During April and May 1918 the Jersey Journal published a list of Jersey City residents who were serving in the Army and Navy. The information was provided on forms submitted to the newspapers by their families. Teecie Cozad has diligently copied the names from microfilm of the newspaper and they are being published here for the first time in over 80 years. http://www.rootsweb.com/~njhudson/JC/wwia-c.htm The lists are large and may take a while to load on your browser but they are well worth the wait. Please take the time to send Teecie a thank you for all her work. Coming soon - Teecie has also provided a partial list of draftees from Jersey City which will appear on the site soon.
