Hi Ken, Congratulations! Sounds like your research is moving forward. You and I were in contact a few years ago. I am researching Bell, Patton, Campen, Albert, MacDonald, Wolfe, Swiss and others in the NYC, Kearny, Arlington, and Newark areas. After reviewing your latest information, I'm convinced that our ancestors had to have known each other in the early 1900s. My G-Uncle, Philip Bell, was one of the founders of the Kearny Police Department and served as Chief of Police in later years. He died in 1939. His brother, Henry "Harry" Bell who died in 1941, also worked for the police department and was my maternal G-Grandfather. I have recently found all of my mother's first cousins in Henry's line. This has been a tremendous healing for my family. We're still working on trying to find anyone who has information regarding Philip and Henry's siblings: Ella, Margaret (married MacDonald), Everett & Ada, as well as any Campen relatives. My G-Grandmother, Mary Margaret Campen, died as a young mother at the age of 27. If you ever run across a researcher who ties in with any of my lines, could you drop me a line or send them my way? My family would be extremely appreciative. Thanks, Nicci At 7:50 PM 7/1/00, Ken Forbes wrote: > I've made considerable progress on my KENWORTHY genealogy.
