FYI - on cemetery searches My 2nd great grandmother, Caroline SCHEISSER LAMBERT d. 1891 in Guttenberg, Hudson County, NJ. Her death certificate indicated that she was buried in the Lutheran Cemetery. I scoured all of Hudson County, called Lutheran Churches, called other churches, etc. The Lutheran Cemetery in which she was buried was in Middle Village, Queens, NY. I had no idea that in the pre horseless carriage days, someone would transport a body across the river, through NY City, through Brooklyn, and into Queens for burial. So, if the death notice/certificate does not indicate location of the cemetery, you may need to widen your search.
