Hello to all, How would I go about finding information on individuals that have been baptized at the Holy Family Church in Union Hill/Union City NJ back in the late 1800's? Is that church still active? Also what other type of information besides a copy of the baptism can one obtain? And what would I need to do to obtain it. Thanks to all for helping me get to this point so far. Theadora
You are in luck. The records of Holy Family in Union City have been microfilmed and the films can be rented from the Family History Center near you. The records are from 1857 - 1986 and include baptisms, marriages, deaths, Confirmations and Communions. The records are on two rolls of film 1468652 and 1468653. Regards, Gloria M.
