    3. "Soho" hospital was Essex County Communicable Disease Hospital in the 1950s. After the discovery of vaccine for polio, it was converted to and remains a nursing home in Belleville, NJ. Hope this helps. (I spent 4 weeks there as a student nurse-RN-caring for mostly polio and TB patients, although there were some kids with Whopping cough, too. Thank God we don't have to deal with the iron lungs anymore!)
