    3. Hi William Just to put in my 2c. When looking for news items in Hudson Co. I hope you are aware that there were many different papers. Depending on the date which you speak of, in Jersey City, Hoboken , Union City, North Bergen etc. I lived in the Jersey City heights and in the 40's 50's the Jersey Observer would have more info. then the Jersey Journal, or the Dispatch. The farther you go back the more papers there were. Hopefully you knew all this, but just in case, I thought it may help.
