Hi Everyone, This is interesting - and as I'm completely ignorant on the subject, I would like to know why are there no Catholic death records! I guess I never thought about it and just took it for granted that churches would keep such records. My husband is Catholic and there was a service for my mother-in-law at the church when she died. Wouldn't that be recorded somewhere? Regards, Karen

I've found a number of Catholic Records on LDS film going back to the 1860's in Bayonne and Jersey City.
