Hi Arthur, I was told many years ago that my Devine famil wassomehow related to the Kennedy family in NJ> I found an Ellen Kennedy Devine buried I think at Holy Name Cemetery. Any possible connection? Owner of the grave listed as Martin. But don't know how he is related. Thanks, Sally Devine Morgan
Still looking for anything on my great grandfather Harry E. Horton. Only reason I even have his first name is my grandfather's baptismal cert. was located (St. Peter's Church, Jersey City, NJ). My grandfather's mother was Mignonnette (Nettie) Peacock, daughter of Dr. Rufus Wilie Peacock, from TN. They moved to NJ in 1871. Family tradition is that my Great Grandfather Horton was one of 5 brothers that came over from England. Also, that he fought for the south in the Civil War. He is said to have died in a train wreck before my grandfather was born (although others think in left Nettie). He's not buried with Nettie in Arlington Cem., Kearny, NJ. Is this Harry E. Horton familiar to anyone. Any help appreciated. - Ray _______________________________ Ray and Joyce Horton and family "Horton Family" <sunray@erie.net> 2720 Ellsworth Ave. Erie, PA 16508 814-864-2958
