    3. Hello Dudley, I had much the same problem. I went to the JC Public Library, and found my family in the JC Directories. My GGM showed up as a widow in the 1879-80 Directory. That gave me a time for my GGF's death. The 1892-93 Directory had my GF's Brother's wife listed as widow also. I then went to the Trenton Archives and found the DCs, which usually tell you where the person is buried. If you go to the Cemetery, you can then find out if any other family members are buried there. You can also check the Censuses, especially 1900, which has a lot of useful info. If you find his DC, perhaps a death notice was in a paper. Never say die in this hobby.
