I have two ancestors who were firemen in JC. Sam Cook was one and I remember visiting him at a fire house on or near Ege Ave.in the 1930s. He worked at the Medical Center in the 50s.Are there any records anywhere? Also George Fick my great grandfather was the fire chief sometime around 1900. He retired shortly after that and went to Sag Harbor, L.I. Gert
