Scanlon Jan,10,1955 The funeral of John Aloysius Scanlon, 244 William St. East Orange,N.J. manager of the Jewelery Division in Newark Department Store, who died Sunday in St. Anthony's Hospital,in St.Petersburg,Fla was to be held today. Mr. Scanlon was a native of Jersey City and lived here until 23 yrs. ago when he moved to East Orange. Miss Smith was a charming young women with a host of friends and was in her 19th year. She was identified with the young people's soieties connected with the First Reformed Church. Her funeral took place on Tuesday evening from the home of her parents. The internment was made yesterday morning in the Moravian Cemetery at New Dorp,Staten Island.
