Hi List: I recently received information that my great grandmother, Catherine Duffy Comiskey, died in a Catholic nursing home called Sisters of the Poor. I had always thought she died in Newark, NJ. But, when I looked for Sisters of the Poor on the internet, I came up with a Sisters of the Poor of St Francis in Hoboken, NJ. Was there a Sisters of the Poor in Newark around the late 1830s and it moved to Hoboken, or has it always been in Hoboken? Has anyone had experience asking for information on a former resident of this home? Thanks so much for your help. Irma in Florida
