However, no one can remember his name! > > Thank you so much for your time, > Tracy tracy have you contacted the hoboken historical society. they have a new museum and have lots of history. they have a website too there phone # is 201 656 2240. they are very helpful if you talk to the right person. mr lutz or robert foster .here is there www.hobokenmuseum.org. my father was a policeman there in 1920's and my grandfather drank alot and propably frequented that speakeasy. he also died a mysterious death at his employment for the railroad..good luck. keep in touch. i will be going to hoboken in sept. if there is anything you need by then.the newark historical society has the directories for hoboken but so does the hoboken library. i dont know which. the museam is not genealogical but the newark historical soc. is and they are on park ave. in newark.
