    3. Hello list. New subscriber here. I am trying to see if there are any others out there with Bracken or Fleming relatives who lived in West Hoboken and / or Jersey City near the turn of the century. I have the State of New Jersey Death Certificate for my gr-gr grandmother Mary "Bridget" Fleming (nee Bracken), and it contains the following info: Died May 30, 1908 in the Small Pox Hospital Cause of death Hemorhagic Purpura Last place of residence was 187 Spring Street, West Hoboken Place of burial Holy Name Cemetery, Jersey City Resident of NJ for 2 years Bridget Fleming and her daughters, Agnes, Lizzie, and Annie, came to Canada in Sept. 1903 from Oldham, co. Lancashire, England so I'm trying to figure out why they would leave the other immigrating family members behind to go to New Jersey in 1906. Shortly after Bridget died, the girls returned to Canada to re-join the family. So, is anyone out there connected to this family? Secondly, can anyone obtain a copy of her obituary for me...willing to pay for services. Thanks, Lisa Hopp Mill Creek, WA "It's a funny thing about life; if you refuse to accept anything but the best, you very often get it." --W. Somerset Maugham
