Does anyone know if West NY had a Catholic Church? Did they have a Catholic Cemetery? If they didn't have a Catholic Cemetery, where would the most likely cemetery be that Catholics from WNY were buried? I am looking for LINSKEY/NAEDLER/DOHENY families. Any help would be great. Thanks!

The only Catholic cemeteries in Hudson County are Holy Name and St. Peter's, both in Jersey City. St. Peter's records are at Holy Name. I've found Holy Name very helpful over the phone. I understand that records for both Holy Name and St. Peter's are available at Family History Centers. If you don't find your relatives at Holy Name or St. Peter's, try Holy Cross in North Arlington, Bergen County. It's near Hudson County.
