I'm looking for ANY information on ANY Ephraim Cohen from around 1860-1890 who may have had ANY dealings in Hoboken, NJ. His age is in question, but one thing is certain, he was murdered in Hoboken around Thanksgiving between 1880-90. The cause of his death is in question. I have several stories. One, his future father-in-law owned an Amber store, where he was shot in a hold up. Another story, he was found beaten to death and dumped in the water in the area there. The story I think is listed as "Mysterious Death" and I think may have been in the NY Times, but I am not sure what newspaper in Hudson County. Any information with that name during those years is of interest to me. Other surnames his family went by: Kagan, Kagen, Kahn Other family surnames in the family: Kantor, Kanter, Hyman, Heyman, Rosenblum, Rosen and others _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com
