John James VARICK, b 1821 NYC, married Elizabeth WALDRON in NYC 1842. They were in NYC census 1850 but moved to Jersey City probably around 1858 (could not find him in 1860 census but he purchased a cemetery plot In Speer Cemetery on Vroom St in JC in 1858). He died 1882 and his funeral was in West Hoboken Baptist Church (he and Elizabeth were among the founders of the church). At the time of his death they were living at 393 New York Avenue, Jersey City Heights where Elizabeth remained until her death in 1909. Their children: Sarah Jane who married Henry MADDEN Susan Elizageht who married Charles STAIR John James who died young Rachel Ann who married Thomas McK ABELL Martha Ann Julia Ann who married Howard ALPAUGH Catherine Louise who married Jack LAMOREUX John Briton who married Rachel WESTERVELT William Edward Have lots to share - but need lots of help.
