    1. [NJHUDSON-L] St. Anthony's
    2. Thanks to all who replied to my query! I am having a hard time believing that the particular St. Anthony's for which I am looking was in Englewood, when the child who was there, was orphaned in the Harrison/Kearney area, and went to St. Stephens Grammar School in Kearny while at the orphanage. Evidently, there were two related orphanages, St. Anthony's for boys (run by Italian nuns), and Sacred Heart for girls. If anyone knows where these might have been located, or particularly, where the records might be today, I would be very grateful! Thanks to all who have tried to help! Dee

    3. Sorry to have caused a problem .... the orphanage in Englewood Cliffs, I just learned, was St. Joseph's ... I knew it was a male saint and a name frequently used by Italians and I thought just MAYBE it was Anthony and I could help ..... sorry again! ----- Original Message ----- From: <MacShea95@aol.com> To: <NJHUDSON-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Wednesday, March 07, 2001 2:02 PM Subject: [NJHUDSON-L] St. Anthony's > Thanks to all who replied to my query! 3. Hi All, Okay I just asked my husband because it was driving me crazy.. He said the Sacred Heart he was in was in Kearny up on a hill.. ?? He was small at the time and doesn't remember the name of the street.. He does however remember that it was run No "Not" by sisters of St. Joseph of Peace as I said last night.. (sorry) but by Catholic Charities.. As far as records I haven't found that out yet..
