Thanks to the folks for the suggestions, I do live 3,000 miles from N.J. and all N.J. census and directories have to be ordered from various libraries at some expense. All of my family lines are from N.J. and N.Y I have invested $100 in N.J. already for death certificates,married certificates. I need to have it narrowed down within 5 years for the search. Neither N.J. or N.Y return the money sent and each certificate is $10-11, so in the interest of finances I appreciate all the help I can get on line. I would be more then willing to look up info in Washington if anybody wanted it.thanks to all again for the help and suggestions.
